Murilo (Bahia, Brazil) & Celia (Pamplona, Spain) met at the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) in 2003. We started this business accidentally in 2006 and have been enjoying meeting people from around the world since.

We own the apartments on this website, that is why we can offer the best rates and best service for our guests. Murilo is based in Salvador and is the logistics and hospitality master. He makes sure everything is perfect for your stay. We speak Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and English.

We love to travel but even when we are rafting in Central America, hiking in Venezuela, or scuba-diving in the Caribbean, we read our emails every day and get back to every single inquiry!

About Us

Fantastic location that is a block from the beach. Cute balcony to sit in and enjoy the ocean view. Murilo is a friendly and knowledgeable host who was willing to give us recommendations and where to go. Also, there's a bank and grocery store a couple of blocks away which is also super convenient. I was totally pleased with this experience and appreciated his timely response speed. Overall a fantastic place, I would highly recommend it!!

I stayed at Murilo's apartment in Barra. It was my first trip to Brazil and I couldn't have chosen a better place. We were four in the apartment and it was perfect. My friends had booked another place and decided to come and stay with us since the location was very convenient and the apartment was very comfortable. There is a bus stop right in front that will take to pretty much anywhere you need to go. The building has a security guard and is very safe. I will certainly go back.

We had an amazing stay during Carnaval! Murilo was a great host. He made the booking process very easy answering all our emails quickly. The apartment was perfect. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and equipped with everything you would need, and with the sea breeze and fan the apartment always felt cool. The apartment was actually very peaceful even though Carnaval was happening right on the street below. I would definitely stay here again (I'm already looking forward to Carnaval next year)!
